Job Description
Excellent opportunity to join a leading Insurance provider new to the Reigate area, offering first rate training, benefits, study sponsorship and long term career progression.
Ideal position for somebody looking to forge a long term career in Underwriting or a Graduate looking to start there career within Insurance.
You will carry out the day to day processing involved in the handling of motor and household in line with the Company’s agreed service standards.
The ideal candidate will have previously worked within Insurance in a Customer Service/ Call Centre capacity.
Knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance Principles & Practices, experience of underwriting processes and an understanding of working practices would be desirable.
Keyboard skills are essential.
Good communication skills are required to be able to resolve queries and complaints, negotiate premiums/non standard quotations and develop successful working relationships.
Good standard of education required, supported by a minimum of 4 GCSE’s (Grade C or above) or equivalent experience.
Sufficiently numerate to be able to calculate premiums, check quotations and process premium bordereau.
Knowledge of Word and Excel is desirable
